Winter Break 2024 Saber Fencing Camp

                      Thurs, Fri, Sat., Mon, Tues  9:00 a.m – 3:45 pm 

1/2 day Option 9-12  for those who cannot attend the full day sessions or do not have electric fencing gear yet.

Camp will be split into two groups, separated by competition age categories – each group will have a lead coach. Full day campers must have own electric gear.

For our  high performance fencers, focus is on the January North America Cup (Jan 3) and January -March regional tournaments  includihg  Feb. Jr. Olympics.

For younger category fencers, preparation for the regional youth circuit tournaments. This is a great opportunity for learning by observing the more experienced fencers train.

All groups will work on improving on defense, offensive actions., tactics, reinforce the rules of right of way. Fitness for injury prevention includes, agility, flexibility, strength and plyometrics.

 Bring water bottle, snack and lunch. Wear tightly fitting athletic shoes, legs should be covered (long basketball shorts that go to midcalf are ok, light short sleeve T-shirt, for long hair wear a ponytail.
