Hector (he/him)  is the first fencing coach in North America to earn the  ICECP certification. (International Coaching Enrichment Certification Program-with the Olympic Solidarity committee). He also holds certifications from the Academie D’Armes de France (AAF – Level One Saber), Positive Coaching Allilance (PCA) Double-Goals Coach, SafeSport and CPR/First Aid. He is a former National Champion of Mexico, and Mexico Jr. Olympics Gold medal winner. His students are national and regional winners at the highest levels.
